Como cada año, Los Golden Globes son la premiación que abre la temporada de premios. En una ceremonia que ha premiado lo mejor del cine y la televisión durante el año 2022, los ganadores de este año fueron anunciados a través de redes sociales sin audiencia ni alfombra roja. En medio de la grave situación pandémica, los organizadores antepusieron la salud para justificar la ausencia de público, coincidiendo también con el boicot de la industria debido a los problemas que se suscitaron en la entrega del año pasado.
En una edición más discreta, las grandes ganadoras de la noche fueron ‘The Power of The Dog’, película que se llevó tres premios: Mejor Película Drama, Mejor Director y Mejor Actor de Reparto; y ‘West Side Story’, la cual triunfó llevándose los premios de Mejor Película Musical o Comedia, Mejor Actriz Musical o Comedia y Mejor Actriz de Reparto. Cada una con los premios más importantes de la noche, apuntan a seguir el camino del triunfo en las próximas premiaciones.
Mientras que, en el apartado televisivo, la gran ganadora fue ‘Succession’, llevándose los premios de Mejor Serie Dramática, Mejor Actor en Serie Dramática y Mejor Actriz de Reparto. Sin duda alguna, la serie creada por Jesse Armstrong caminará firme este año rumbo a la gran entrega de Los Premios Emmys.
